Waterproof Junction Box for Protection Against Electric Shock and Leakage

(1) the latch design of the box. The design of the latch is the main reason for the failure of the test. The two-buckle mode makes the force of the lid concentrated in two points, coupled with the large area of the lid under force, resulting in the rest of the force is very uneven. Especially at high temperatures, the remaining points are affected by thermal expansion and contraction, the material becomes soft with heat, resulting in blistering the junction box mouth, affecting the sealing of the box, thus failing in the IP65 waterproof test.


 (2) The rubber material of Waterpoof junction box seal is not selected properly: Due to the selection of improper sealing materials, in Waterpoof junction box after 240 hours of aging pretreatment test, its elongation and shrinkage rate decreased, the hardness of the sealing material increased, reducing the sealing performance of the box body and cover, resulting in sealing can not completely seal the box body and cover of the slot, resulting in the infiltration of water, anti-scouring test failure.
