What is the difference between cold-rolled steel and stainless steel

Material composition:
Cold rolled steel: mainly composed of elements such as iron, carbon, manganese, silicon, etc., it is obtained by cold rolling hot-rolled steel coils at room temperature.
Stainless steel: On the basis of cold-rolled steel, alloy elements such as chromium and nickel are added, with a chromium content generally not less than 10.5%, which makes stainless steel have better corrosion resistance.
Production process:
Cold rolled steel: The production process is relatively simple, mainly by cold rolling hot-rolled steel coils.
Stainless steel: The production process is relatively complex, including multiple stages such as steelmaking, hot rolling, cold rolling, annealing, acid washing, etc., ensuring the excellent performance of stainless steel.

The main difference between single-phase meter box and three-phase meter box
Performance characteristics:
Cold rolled steel:
High thickness accuracy: The surface is smooth and flat, with high strength and hardness.
Poor mechanical processing performance: suitable for simple directional bending below 90 degrees.
Corrosion resistance is average: it is easy to rust in humid environments.
Stainless steel:
Strong corrosion resistance: able to resist the erosion of various chemical substances.
Excellent mechanical performance: It has high strength and hardness, and performs well in tensile strength and compressive strength.
Good polishing performance: beautiful surface and easy to clean.
