What Material Is Cold-rolled Sheet

Basic concepts
Cold rolled sheet is a steel material made by cold rolling process, which is made from hot-rolled coils and rolled at room temperature below the recrystallization temperature. Compared with hot rolling, cold rolling does not involve a heating process, thus avoiding surface defects such as iron oxide scale, and the finished product has higher dimensional accuracy and smoothness.

Characteristics Of Base Box
Process characteristics
Temperature control: Cold rolling is carried out below the recrystallization temperature, usually understood as room temperature rolling.
Subsequent processing: The cold-rolled raw coil is brittle and hard, and needs to undergo annealing, acid washing, and surface leveling processes to improve processing performance.
